Jongkong kratom comes from the bread basket of Borneo, in the Indonesian state of West Kalimatan. The Jongkong variety strains are our favorite, as the micro climate in this region is optimal for yielding high quality kratom leaf.
Gold vein kratom is a variant of yellow vein kratom. Yellow Vein kratom is the premature version of a white vein leaf, and tends to be far more mellow than it’s matured brethren. The Gold Jongkong variety is harvested early in the leaf’s life cycle, and then dried, or cured to augment the leaf’s natural color creating a hue more akin to gold, than green, or red. Whether there’s an actual distinction between yellow vein, and gold vein, we’re not sure, but we are certain that these varieties have a place in the larger context of the scope of kratom leaves that exist.
They remind us of those Mexican beer commercial, like Corona for example, laid back, on a beach, zero stress, enjoying a sun bath on the precipice of an aquamarine water hole. That’s exactly why we enjoy these ones so much.
This Gold Jong Kong botanical specimen has been wild harvested from Jong Kong region of the island of Borneo, from the river banks, and old growth rain forests that litter the South East Asian rain forest archipelago.
